Southern culture. It's in a league of its own. Sometimes it’s just plain wrong. But, sometimes, when you're rockin' on the porch watchin fire flies and you hear the crickets chirp your troubles away...or sometimes, when you're walking down Main St (barefoot) and several strangers smile and wave...or when someone you don't know knows all about you and says they're praying for you...that part of the South just can't be beat. This blog is just a snapshot of my life through its southern lens.

My faith in God is what helps me to be content even when I don't know the answers to these questions. My family loves me even as I flounder for the answers. I reckon I must warn you that I'm slightly addicted to shopping (and may blog about fashion), dancing, chocolate, traveling, my precious pup, and being around my large (sometimes obnoxious) extended family. :)
